Your Home Builders Association will host its annual Golf Classic on Thursday, May 4, at The Preserve at Verdae Golf Course. The golf tournament is sponsored by  Progress Lighting and presented by Piedmont Natural Gas. 

 

The Golf Classic is Captain's Choice Format.  Shotgun Start begins at 11:30 a.m..  Lunch is provided for each registered player and volunteer.  Following the golf tournament, an awards banquet will include dinner sponsored by Clark's Termite and Pest Control and prizes.  Don't miss the chance to win a NEW GM vehicle with a hole-in-one at the designated hole, sponsored by Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet.

2015 Clay Tournament - winners announced!

It was a great day out on the course..the Clay Course that is. Eight teams participated in the 2015 HBA Clay Tournament at Clinton House Plantation on Thursday, October 8th. A BIG thanks to our presenting sponsor Piedmont Natural Gas, as well as GBS Building Supply our cart sponsor, and Jeff Lynch, PestBan, Kevin Whitaker Chevy, Progress Lighting, and Zuendt Consulting- our stand sponsors. Registration begun at 11:30 with lunch served shortly after, the teams then headed out on the 12 stand course to shoot 100 rounds. Fun was had by all and some really great prizes were awarded too including a 40in Flat screen TV courtesy of Jeff Lynch Appliance and TV Center, Cabelas gift cards courtesy of the Southern Home and Garden Show, 2 Polo shirts courtesy of Progress Lighting, and three 3-gallon hydrangeas courtesy of MNI Direct. The HBA of Greenville also gave away 3 camping chairs.

UPDATE: Please note that tonight's HBA of Greenville Member Appreciation Night hosted by Piedmont Natural Gas during Downtown Alive has been cancelled due to potential inclement weather. 
 However, The SMC of the Upstate Summer Social is still scheduled for tonight at 5 p.m. at Conservus Realty.

It was a great day for golf as the 2015 Golf Classic sponsored by Waldrop Heating and Air started at 11:30 with a shot gun start. The event was held at Verdae and included more than 130 players, 50 sponsors, and many volunteers. The event was presented by Piedmont Natural Gas with lunch from Chick Fil A sponsored by Builders First Source. The day concluded with an awards dinner sponsored by Stock Building Supply and dinner served by Travinia Italian Kitchen. There were also awards given to first, second, and third place teams as well as Longest Drive sponsored by GBS Building Supply and Closest to the Pin sponsored by DeckStore.
