SMC Sponsors Hole at GGAR Tournament

The Sales and Marketing Council of the Upstate sponsored a hole at yesterday's Greater Greenville Association of Realtors golf tournament. Volunteers Barbara Ryan of Atherton Company, Louie Gambrell of New Home Finder and special guest HBA President Bruce Pasquarella spent the afternoon spreading the word about the SMC and the HBA to attendees.

Here's a picture of our set-up (and our new banner!):

$81,063.93 Back to Members with SCHBSIF

Your HBA of Greenville is excited to report that $81,063.93 has been refunded to 158 members of the HBA of Greenville who participate in the HBA-endorsed Workers' Compensation Insurance program - the SC Home Builders Self Insurance Fund.

The SCHBSIF Board of Trustees elected to refund a portion of 2008 member contributions as a result of lower costs due to favorable claims experience. The lower claims expenses are a direct result of the efforts of our members who work hard to keep their construction sites safe. Your efforts have resulted in this premium refund. Members who participated in the SCHBSIF during all or part of 2008 are eligible to receive the refund. We believe that this refund of member contributions demonstrates the value of participating in an insurance program designed by and for members of your HBA of Greenville.

For more information on the SCHBSIF, please visit www.SCHBSIF.com.
