Homes of Hope Unveils New Energy Efficient Home Program
HBA member Homes of Hope, a nonprofit organization that builds homes for low-income families, unveiled plans to build two energy-efficient, affordable homes for two families at the poverty line. The initiative, called LoCal Housing, will provide long-term housing that will appreciate in value. In addition, the program will provide job training for workers on the job site. The homes will be LEED certified.
