Greenville County Schools to Host a Job Fair--Industry Leaders Wanted

With the Greenville County School district's "Graduation Plus" initiative, students are taking important steps toward career awareness and planning to ensure they are prepared for post-graduation. GCS is hosting a career fair to allow students to explore many career paths in one setting. 

The school is seeking housing industry professionals from the Greenville area to showcase their companies and job opportunities through hands-on demonstrations and discussions. Representatives' roles will be to speak with students about jobs/opportunities in their industry including the required education/training and salary ranges, and to share why they chose this field. The fair will take place May 2-3rd at the TD Convention Center from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., and your HBA is seeking interested professionals who would like to help. Diversity in Design & Construction

Friends of the Home Builders Association, Women in Architecture, would like to invite all those interested to a Diversity in Design & Construction event, with guest speaker Dr. Kinneil Coltman, the Chief Diversity Officer at Greenville Hospital System. 2016 HBA of Greenville Golf Classic sponsored by GBS Building Supply.

The HBA of Greenville will host its annual Golf Classic on Thursday, May 5th at The Preserve at Verdae Golf Course. The event is sponsored by GBS Building Supply and presenting sponsor Piedmont Natural Gas ,presenting sponsor. When a local car dealer hosted a speed-networking event for the Home Builders Association of Hilton Head, South Carolina, it was more than a great opportunity for builders and trade partners to get together for a little wheeling and dealing.

It was also a way to showcase the products of one of National Association of Home Builders' newest affinity partners, Fiat Chrysler Auto, which allows Home Builders Association of Greenville members to enjoy a $500 cash allowance on Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles.
