When a local car dealer hosted a speed-networking event for the Home Builders Association of Hilton Head, South Carolina, it was more than a great opportunity for builders and trade partners to get together for a little wheeling and dealing.
It was also a way to showcase the products of one of National Association of Home Builders' newest affinity partners, Fiat Chrysler Auto, which allows Home Builders Association of Greenville members to enjoy a $500 cash allowance on Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles.
As members crowded the dealership to chat and do a little horse trading, they were also eyeing the shiny models on the showroom floor.
The discounts available through the NAHB Member Advantage program run the gamut from cars and trucks to computers and other consumer goods as well as warranty and insurance programs.
And these are not insignificant savings: Home Builders Association of Greenville membership means an additional 2% off Lowe’s ProServices and free shipping for large orders. In fact, the average savings in the Lowe’s program amounted to $1,700 per member in 2015.
Builders and remodelers are also signing up for the specialized support now available only to Home Builders Association of Greenville members through a new strategic alliance with Houzz that includes a free profile adorned with your membership badge.
“Our members know about the value of National Association of Home Builders great advocacy work and education programs,” said National Association of Home Builders chief marketing officer Lakisha Woods. “But this is a different kind of value: money back, and discounts mean actual dollars in your pocket.”
