CNN/Money predicts a housing shortage may be near. Home builders are building less than half of the housing units that are needed to meet future demand and inventory is being sold off and not replaced in most markets. NAHB CEO Jerry Howard is quoted. He states that lack of financing is limiting home builders' ability to meet future demand.
