- The deadline to inspect next-day inspections has been extended to 7 p.m. Inspections for Monday or after a holiday will be accepted until 7 p.m. the night before as well. However, to avoid a reinspection fee, cancellations of inspection requests must be made by 8:30 a.m.
- The city also has committed to attempt to have the same inspector perform reinspections. However, this is not a guarantee.

New Code Enfordement Rules in Greer
The City of Greer has met twice in the last two months with Home Builders actively building in the city. The city recently announced several new rules and procedures to help improve delivery of services to the industry.
